to feature a Whisker Wonderland
What: The Sacramento SPCA’s 22nd Annual Reigning Cats & Dogs Gala
will feature a Whisker Wonderland-themed evening.
What Else: Support your SPCA and enjoy a festive Whisker Wonderland featuring delicious food from more than 30 restaurants and an equal number of wineries/breweries, as well as large silent and live auctions, and live entertainment.
General admission tickets are $65 each before October 10th and $75 thereafter. VIP tickets are $100. Tables of 10 can be purchased for $1,000.
Live auction items include: a diamond necklace from Guzzetta & Company Jewelers, round-trip airfare and travel packages to Carmel, Disneyland and the Napa wine country, original art, and more.
When: Saturday, October 18, 2008 from 6:30-10:00 p.m.
Who: Entertainment: Live entertainment by AirAligned, Aerial Dance Group and Starling Strings quartet, members of the Sacramento Philharmonic and psychic, Linda Schooler who will be doing readings for people and their pets (bring picture).
Restaurants include: Andy Ngyuens, Dawson’s Restaurant, Café Bernardo and many more
Wineries include: Ironstone Vineyards, Bogle Vineyards, Oakstsone Winery and many more
Where: Sacramento Convention Center
Why: For more than 100 years, the Sacramento SPCA has been providing shelter and compassionate care to Sacramento’s homeless and unwanted animals. The SPCA depends on your support to care for more than 10,000 homeless animals annually. All proceeds from the Gala benefit the animals in the SPCA’s care.
