Hey, runners, walkers dog lover of both real and invisible make plans to come join other like mind people for a nice morning run or walk. The run and walk is a 5k or 1 mile walk. The event starts at C-bar-C park and goes through a local neighborhood. The streets are wide enough to give you plenty of room to run or walk. This course is set for you to make a PR. It is a good place to practice for up coming marathons or half-marathons. You also can come and just enjoy the run or walk with your dog. Awards will be given to the top three finsihers in each age division. Timing will be done by Running Zone. After the run or walk stay for a small party with games, contest, demos, many vendors, free food, and great raffle prizes. All participates will get a t-shirt and goody-bag. Sign up early to make sure you get t-shirt on race day. You can register online at Active.com, go to Pooch Pursuit.org, you can also pick up registration form at Pooch Dog Park at C-bar-C park in Citrus Heights, Forms will also be available at various stores.
