Cat: Catrina is a 16 year old Russian Blue Mix. She recently was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism. She went from about 11 lbs all the way down to 5.2 lbs. She was put on medication but had a severe allergic reaction to it. She almost died twice and had to have 2 blood transfusions. She finally had a radioactive iodine shot and now all is fine and she's gaining weight.
Parrot: Kobe is a 6 year old Eclectus parrot. i adopted him from a breeder when he was 12 weeks old. He's such a joy. He talks up a storm saying things like "hello, i love you, want some wawa?, i'm sorry, buh bye, come here and so many other things. The best is when he calls the cat. He says, "Catrina, catrina....meow, meow" lol
Dog: JoJo is a 2 year old Great Dane. i rescued him from the Placerville animal shelter in March. He was there because he was basically starving. When the shelter took him he weighed 104 lbs and in the 6 weeks they had him he gained 50 lbs and came home with me weighing 155 lbs. He still needs to gain 10-20 lbs. We joined The Sacramento Great Dane Meetup Group and have met many wonderful Dane owners. We meet up at least once a week at local dog parks.
JoJo is a real sweetheart. A big dorky couch potato.
