Bring your family and your little buddies for a fun-filled day of Dachshund events:
· Flea Market and Jewelry Sale – please bring your unwanted new or gently used items to add to the inventory. Pre-priced items would be appreciated.
· Best Costume Contest
· Dog Intuitive – Pat Ballesteros
· Pet Photographer – Ron Nabity – see his work at
· Parade of Rescue Doxies
· Dachshund Kissing Booth
· Many Fabulous Raffle and Silent Auction
Items – raffle items to be raffled every half
hour beginning at noon
· Bobbing for Wieners
· Dog Agility Demonstration
· Many vendors offering pet related items and
services
· BBQ with hamburgers, hot dogs, chips and
drinks
Remember…a large portion of the proceeds from all purchases made (entrance fee, raffle, food, commodities, and services) at the picnic will go to house, feed, and provide for the veterinary care and placement of abandoned and/or abused dachshunds rescued by Longdogs Canine Rescue. This annual picnic is the only source of income for this rescue so please help in any way you can.
Entrance fee to the picnic is $1.00 per Dachshund and each Dachshund receives a special prize upon entry. Only non-aggressive doxies may attend and must be on a leash at all times. Bring a comfortable chair to sit back and enjoy the festivities.
T-Shirts (artwork same as above) can be ordered in advance of the picnic (contact event coordinator below) and will be available the day of the picnic. T-shirts can be delivered prior to the picnic but will be subject to postage fees. Please order your T-shirts in advance since sizes may be limited the day of the picnic.
