PG&E and Petco are pleased to present the Yolo County SPCA’s fourth annual Doggone Walk-a-thon to be held on Saturday May 3rd at Community Park in Davis.   Registration begins at 7:30 a.m. and the non-timed walk through the greenbelts of north Davis begins at 9:15.   The registration fee, which includes the chose of either an official Doggone Walk-a-thon t-shirt or an YCSPCA tote bag, is $15 through April 19th and $20 after the 20th and on the day of the event.   During and after the walk there will be children’s games, pet related activities, entertainment and animal rescue organizations.   A variety of vendors with a vast array of products available to purchase will be there.   A photographer will be available to memorialize the day.  There will be a silent auction.  You don’t need a dog to come and join us for a fun day that will support the Yolo County SPCA.  If you don’t want to walk alone, form a pack with friends, family or co-workers and walk as a team.   Prizes will be awarded to those individuals and teams that raise the most money. Prizes will also be awarded to the winners of the games & contests.  Registration forms and information will be available on our website www.yolospca.org

The Yolo County SPCA is a non-profit foster home based animal welfare organization.   Our mission is to continuously improve the welfare of animals in the community through programs that promote the adoption of homeless animals into permanent, loving homes; humane education; spay/neutering; and the trapping, altering and return of feral cats.  Please join us on Saturday, May3rd, and Walk Today for Their Tomorrow.
