The Mercer Veterinary Clinic for the Homeless, which provides free veterinary care to the pets of Sacramento’s homeless, will be holding its annual fundraiser, "Santa Paws" Pet Photos with Santa, on Sunday, December 7. The event will be held at Arden Animal Hospital, 1823 Fulton Avenue in Sacramento from 9 am to 4 pm. A photographer will take pictures of pets with Santa Claus for a suggested minimum donation of $20 for a CD or picture, and $25 for both. The Mercer Clinic is a volunteer program of the students of the School of Veterinary Medicine, UC Davis.
