To Paws It May Concern,

It is with great paws
for me to pause for a great cause.
The title of my story is: "My pet "P" and me,"
simply because I like things a certain kind of way, you see.
My pet "P" and I first met
on the day that I got out of debt;
It was best to be debt free,
as for my pet "P" and me.
At first my pet "P" used to get a bit upset
when things didn't go quite like it would expect.
But now my pet "P" is all well-tamed,
and this is why pet "P" is such a swell name.
I never returned my pet to the pound,
because our relationship's cool, and quite sound.
It's a win-win at hand because my pet seems to understand
that, in this house, I am 'the man.'
My pet "P" and I never compete against each other.
We always get along, one way or another.
My pet isn't "Fido," just "P" for a "real prize,"
so the world would know a winner and quite easily recognize.
When it comes to my pet, no need to neuter or spay.
It's hip to pet child support and the games that animals play.

By now, this all must sound pretty crazy,
but your ad asked for such and not pets that are lazy.
The pleasure's all mine, to show, tell and share,
a story that's unique but also very rare.
And now you have it, my pet owner blogs.
How's this for a winner, in magazines and catalogs?
Nick called Patty Whack and gave his dog a bone,
but what about the "old man" on a roll?
And which little piggy was it that cried all the way home?
Arguments between my pet and I are seldom.
We'd much rather be where pets are always welcome.
This is a big shout out for all of the pets,
to remove the guesswork and reveal the winner and best bet.
A stray that's saved is a pet's trust earned,
and this story goes out to Paws it may concern.
