My girlfriend and I were looking around Pet Co. when this cute little guy came in the door with a real estate agent who had picked him up earlier that day after showing a house. He looked like he was starving and he had a big scar on his neck and chest from what appeared to be a harness. We went up to pet him and when we talked to the woman about him she said that she had seen him running around the area for many days and thought that he needed a home. After some debating, I asked the woman if I could have him and after I convinced her that I would provide a wonderful home for him I ending up taking him home with me.  Rocky is still frightened by strangers and many objects as if he was beaten by his previous owners. 

I'm glad to report that he is no longer starving and he has grown into one of the most muscular dogs I have ever seen.  Notice that I have a link to Western Feed & Pet Supply's website??  That is because they also helped save Rocky's life.  As I said, he was starving when I got him so I did what many pet owners do and I went to Petsmart for advice on what to feed my new dog.  The worker suggested that I go with Petsmart own brand food called Authority.  After 4-5 days, Rocky's hair began falling out on his hind legs, so I began asking around about what I should do.  This is where Western Feed comes in; a friend of mine said that he buys his food from Western Feed and his dog is as healthy as can be.  So, I took Rocky to the store in Carmichael and there we met Bobbie who was very knowledgeable and helped me pick out the food that made my dog what he is today; Orijen.  He started on Puppy food and now he is onto the adult food.  He has a beautiful shinny coat, nice clean teeth, and his body is in perfect shape.  I would recommend Western Feed & Pet Supply and Orijen dog food to anyone.  I also put a link to the Orijen website if you'd like to know more.

Anyways, we are on here to meet new people, help other people with any problems if possible, and learn some stuff for myself.
