About Joey
Writer/tutor/community volunteer, loves restaurants, books, movies (comedy, animation, fantasy, musicals), art (only know a little about it but I love to walk around museums), theme parks, beading people who are kind/honorable/considerate, and ANIMALS, especially dogs. Dishonesty drives me nuts, ditto with rudeness. Can't stand okra, love chocolate, don't see the point in slasher movies, like just about every kind of music, although "gangsta" rap is played, played, played out, and any guy who calls women "hos" should be spanked by his mama until he cries. Restaurants - like good food done well, no pretensions. Love a really good diner where the waitress calls you "hon" and they make a mean meatloaf, also love a high-class joint where the food appears as if by magic and they wouldn't serve duck without blood orange sauce. So long as it's done with pride (not arrogance) and served courteously, I have fork and will travel.
