About Karee1955
I was born in the mid-50's, got my first dog at 3 and have been hooked ever since. When my oldest child went off to college I had a touch of empty nest syndrome and decided I needed to adopt a puppy. I found Hershey (Husky/Greyhound/Shepherd mix from the Sac County Animal Shelter. They told me she would be 35 to 45 lbs. She ended up being about 85 lbs but we really love her. Last November, after my last child left for college, my husband and Ifound a friend for Hershey at the SPCA. He is a two year old Lab/Shepherd mix named Chance. They both need training on walking on a leash, but we sure have fun with them!
