I am a volunteer with "Gone To The Dogs!', a dog park committee with Cordova Recreation Park District. We are fundraising for the District's first off-leash dog park at Hagan Park in Rancho Cordova, scheduled to open in summer 2008.
Our next fundraiser is the "Canine Classic" Golf Tournament set for Saturday, May 3rd starting at 8:00am at Cordova Golf Course on Jackson Highway in Rancho Cordova. The cost is $60 per player which includes range balls, a tee prize and lunch.
There will also be "hole in one", "closest to the pin" and "longest drive" contests plus you can "buy" your own mulligan. Individual and corporate hole sponsorships for $100 each are available at canineclassic@crpd.com
Tournament registration is available until May 2nd at www.crpd.com or 916-362-1841 x20.
