Not to sound repetitious from a members previous post, however I must say that my wife and I - also considered our trip to the Fort Bragg / Mendocino area one of the best trips we have had traveling with our dog. There were various lodgings that were pet friendly with ocean access and incredible views – some overlooking rock formations and arches in the water. The location we chose to spend our holiday even had a little welcome package for our dog at check in! We truly appreciated the extra care taken to make all of us comfortable. Our dog loved the miles of walking trails, tide pools and dog friendly beaches. Her favorite was an off leash beach (located next to our favorite seafood restaurant) where she ran with other dogs and played along the shoreline. We even met a nice couple and their dog from the Sacramento area, which were loads of fun to be with!
