One of our best trips with our 2 dogs was to Mendicino and Ft. Bragg, Calif. Dogs were allowed to walk almost everywhere on the trails and beaches! They have beautiful campgrounds there and when we rode the Skunk Train we found a great kennel to watch the dogs for the day for a great price.
