Report Violation

Are you sure you want to report the following content as a violation?
Dogs are susceptible to canine heartworm, which is vectored by certain mosquito species.  It's not so common in cats.  I'd worry more about rodents your cat might catch and eat.  If you're concerned, talk to your vet...at least make a call to a local vet and ask if they see heartworm cases in cats in your area (or any other mosquito-borne diseases in cats). Let them have their fun!!!  You're lucky you don't live out in the country (like me).  We don't have cats anymore, but our neighbors with cats have to worry about a family of foxes and coyotes out here!
