We use to have the same problem with my German Shepard. I didn't have a clue at the time about anal sacs. Lane, that was her name she was my first dog at least my first very own dog and I was clueless. But a friend of mine clued me in and actually drained the sac herself she was a harness racer and dealt with animals all her life. I was very grateful for that lesson and now I have boy cats and they have the same problem Percy mostly but i didn't know cats had the same issue. But I recognized the very fragrant oder ugh. Now I haven't dealt with it personally though,that is draining it myself. I would if I knew what to do so I will have to take my boy in to have it relieved. She told ne that they leak or you can smell them because the gland is so full and it hurts them if it it gets too full. So I don't know for sure but I am going to take my boy in.
