We've had this problem a few times with a cat of ours... When we talked to our vet about it they said that it can either be because they are relaxed or because it's jsut a full gland. Most vets will recommend expressing the gland regularly to prevent incidents like these. If you haven't yet, talk to your vet or even a local groomer and they'll be able to help ya out so you don't have to deal with that.. :oP
