Grab your frisbees and head to the river folks - it looks like we won't be seeing rain for a while! I like to take my dogs to Paradise Beach in Sacramento. They respond well to voice commands, so if there aren't a lot of people around I'll slip em off the leash and let them run a bit.
To get to Paradise Beach: From U.S. 50, take the Howe Ave. off-ramp, heading north. Make a left on Fair Oaks Blvd., then a right on Carlson Drive. You will find Paradise Beach at the intersection of Carlson and Sandburg Drives, over the levee from Glen Hall Park.
When you are feeling a bit spring feverish, where do you like to go locally? And to all you cat people out there - are there fun outdoor activities for cats? I love cats, but sadly have been allergic since birth, so you'll have to help me out with this one...
