Jon Jon has never liked garbage days ever since he was a little kitten which has been some time ago. But his fear is still here and seems to be worse. I keep everything all windows etc... closed so to block out the sound turn on the t.v. but he still hears it and he knows when its coming before I do. I only know because he starts getting jumpy. And the garbage isn't picked up early in the morning and they pick up the other can some times a lot later than the first can. So it seems like a half a day ordeal. I try to keep him busy when I hear it and play with him or hold him anything to get his mind off the DREADED garbage truck. If I could take him out in the back and play that would work but NOT he hears it coming from the he back yard. Its so hard to see him freak out and run under the bed or anywhere he can fit and wait it out but I am at a loss. My poor little baby and his phobias.
