My wife and I just recently returned from a two week trip/cruise to Alaska. The trip was wonderful and the scenery more beautiful than I could have imagined, but we still missed 'our girls' Forrest and Shasta and the kitty Butter(scotch). As we took in the sights of all the lovely cities we got to stop at along the way Astoria (OR), Seattle, Ketchican (AK), Juneau, Sagway, Vancouver (BC) we got our puppy/doggie fix wherever we could. In Ketchican we met an adorable standard poodle pup, and in Juneau and the amazing Mendenhall Glacier (the world's only 'drive up' glacier) we met a golden retriever puppy named Chloe, then at our last stop in Vancouver we met a sweet dog named Bo who much like our Forrest was sweet if a little dense.
We picked up the girls from my parents' house an hour after we got back to Sacramento from Vancouver, and if it sounds like we missed our dogs you should have seen them. The moment we pulled in and opened the car door Shasta and...
