I have the most beautiful Earth Friendly Dog-Run around!! It is complete with Cymbidium Orchids,Daffodils,Butterfly Iris,Peacock Iris,three Italion Cypresses,Eyrissoms(purple wallflower),four half wine barrels in the middle,two have storm clould Agapanthus and two have roses. I have big flower pots that line the long side of the run. Some have Clematis and some have various flowers in them. I mow the area with my mulching mower which fertlizes the grass and I never use any fertilizer on the ground. In fact,the only plants that get any fertilizer are the roses,and I use the systemic Insect and fertilizer by Bayer (one capful every 8 weeks). My dog run attracts many butterflies,birds,and little Lizzards. I also purchase Ladybugs and Praying Mantis egg sacs every year. The grass is soooo green because I mulch,and I do not have to worry about any chemicals that might harm my dog or the environment. I...
