Ruby, Amie and I made the long drive back from Shreveport, LA to Kansas City, MO yesterday and made it without any difficulties. Another successful trip with my dogs which I am always grateful for. My psych clinical rotation ended this week which is why I was headed back to Kansas City to start my surgery rotation on Monday. Ugh. My psych rotation had very hospitable hours (i.e. allowed me a lot of time with my puggies) whereas surgery will be another story. I've already lined up my dogwalker to come twice a day! Fortunately I will have my weekends free and hopefully no overnight call. As I've remarked to my family, I'm not so much stressed by the rotations and constantly changing environments but more stressed that my puggies be well taken care of in my absence.
