I just read on one of the post that cats have to have both dry food and wet food. I was told that wet food has no nutritional value for them and that they should be fed a premium dry food. When we had the pet food scare I did a lot of research on different dry foods and came up with...

I recycle everything from the plastic kitty litter pails to cardboard food containers. I also reuse the rope from the old scratching posts to make new scratching posts.

My boys love to bring me their prey. Percy my beautiful blue eyed boy has this thick string like rope, that is his prey. He places it all around the house forgets about it for a few days and then all of a sudden I will hear this odd howl/meow and I know he is bringing me his prey. Sometimes I...

I'm on the internet tonight, shopping for cheap sheets, all in the name of excellence in dog training.
This spree is at the recommendation of my trainer, Mary Vogler. For several weeks she's been away, or our schedules haven't meshed, and I haven't...

I think my kitty does. Last night she jerked in her sleep so much that it woke me up. I started to pet her and she did it again and woke herself up. She looked around a little dazed, then went back to sleep. Is it possible she was dreaming? Has anyone experienced this with their pets?

I seriously don't get why people sell dogs for $100++++ just to make a profit off of them. I see no justification for it, especially when dogs are being put down all the time because nobody wants to adopt them.

Shortly after posting about HoBo the found dog, I found out that he was micro chipped and his owners were located. Bad news is that HoBo didn't leave all intact. The only way that his owners were allowed to take him home was to have him neutered.
From what I understand, they...

There are the obvious things that we really shouldn't bring to the dogs parks like our cats, or raw bacon, but there are other things like bottled water. Check out the article below. It made my conviction to never purchase bottled water again even stronger.
