http://www.sacpaws.com/home/Blog/pugzrule/290 Trying to be the good pug mom, I'm always on the lookout for healthy, veggie and real meat kibble so I decided to try a new brand:  Authority Brand Dog Food.  The label said it was made with real chicken and wholesome vegetables and oven-baked.  It was also formulated for the less active dog and with Amie and Ruby tipping the scales at 25 pounds each, I thought this would be a great choice.  And it was.....until a few days into the new food.  That's when I started noticing not just loose poops but forceful loose poops.  You know the kind....where you literally have to remove a divot of grass and dirt to get it all or at least most of it.  And you hope for a strong rainstorm shortly thereafter.  After a few days of ground turkey and rice, things became more "shapely" again.  The girls loved the kibble so rather than wasting it I use it as a treat only in VERY small doses!
