Well she has added a new twist. Now she runs out side looks up at the tree and sways back and forth (probably trying to get a better view) but she looks like she is swaying to music. Then she runs to the other side and does the same thing,looks up and sways back and forth and then she runs back to the other side and does the same thing and this goes on for awhile. She is literally Dancing with the Stars!&nbsp; If there&nbsp;was a doggy version Bridget would be a hit!!! </font>

They are older horses&nbsp;I am not sure if they are all older but they aren't putting them down&nbsp;at least all of them because they are in pain but because they don't have the resources to take care of them properly. They are older and some sick or need a little more care but still could live&nbsp;and be happy in pasture.&nbsp;They just ran out of resources the woman who was in charge of these horses and speaking was in tears and it brought tears to my eyes. There is still a lot of money in this town despite the economic situation but I am not sure about the humanity. You open a door and like blurry little cream/light orange flash comes right out in front of you.</strong> <strong>You didn't see it coming. Bam! He is out and about. He could be apparently sleeping in the next room and zoom,faster than the speed of light he's out the door,rolling in the sunshine or looking so surprised that he made it out that he doesn't even know what to do...it frustrates me and amuses me at the same time. He wants to outside and with the weather being good he definitely thinks he should but I cant always be out there with him. And he is obviously not to be trusted. He was doing pretty good during the summer months but then all of a sudden again in a flash he was gone!!! I was scared to death because I knew he had jumped the fence&nbsp;I could just tell.&nbsp;Then panic set in,I didn't know if there was a &nbsp;&nbsp; dog if so its probably an inside one or I would know for sure,all this is running through my mind as as I am calling him frantically. Then it dawns on me it has to be the people right next door. Its a corner he is drawn to and there is a tree that comes over to&nbsp;our&nbsp;yard&nbsp;cousing a little split in the fence. So my fear is rising and I start to head over the fence when Jon Jon jumps through the split in the fence and straight in the house. He was punished ,basically I told him he was a bad boy and he knew from my tone that I met business so he was scarred and went and ran under the table. Since then he is watched very close when he is outside and cannot go anywhere in that corner. His brother on the the other hand is purrfect kitty. He doesn't have to be watched so closely and whats funny is that it use to be the opposite. Percy was the escape artist and also a good one but not anymore. I guess he passed the torch! lol</strong></font></p>

JonJon and Percy and the NeverEnding Quest for Exercise http://www.sacpaws.com/home/Blog/Barb111/515 http://www.sacpaws.com/home/Blog/Barb111/515 <font face="Comic Sans MS" color="#0000ff" size="2">Well if you have read any or my past blogs you know that I am always working on new ways to keep my boys active since they are indoor cats ( who get to go out if I am with them). The weather is either warm semi warm or cold in the last few months topped with the time change they are a little confused. And it doesn't help that I haven't been on my usual routine. So we are muddling through thats why&nbsp;I leave the garage door from the house open for awhile. I have the garage set up with exercise equipment and work area for projects and a chairs etc... So when I go out there and work out they definitely saunter out and see whats up. They do some exploring and an occasional chasing around but nothing too taxing.lol But I figure thats better than being a couch potato. Well Percy really gets into working out in the garage I mostly catch him sitting on the equipment and he already has a favorite one. Not exactly what I pictured but leave it to Percy. He can find a comfy spot anywhere.</font>

I brought Bridget out with me because she usually hangs out on the other side of the yard (less trouble for her to get into). She was a little wild at first but settled down into her job of supervising. While I cleaned the pond she would sit there and stare and occasionally walk around the area I was working in and at times let out a bark or two(which was probably for a bird or squirrel) but it was cute because her demeanor was like I am just supervising ,making sure your getting it right. That must be the woman in her...</font></p>

They only have their own toy chest and I found one that went with the decor and was low enough for them to go in and pick out their toys,which they do they dint always put them back but we are always working on that once in a blue moon I will find that they have actually put it back in their box. Love those days because I am not stepping on tiny little mice with little leather tails all day long. But my partner and I have come to the conclusion that nothing beats the anything on a stick, it could be a piece of string,leather strip kids fishing pole,which is is essentially something on a the end of a stick. The something is one of those little mice I mentioned above that I am always walking on. We have also observed that this is the general consensus of most of the cats we sit for and if they dint have one we ask the owner if they mind if we buy them a toy and we buy them a mouse on a stick and they love it ....I haven't found any luck with those fancy toys. In fact they have a real stick and just a piece of purple leather thinner like a string I had used it for a craft project which they were in the middle of one night and is actually there favorite toy that and the little hard mice. And for an occasional surprise we will happen to have bought something that came in a big box or medium or little for that matter as long as the can fit in it or go through it and they will play with that for awhile but try and buy them one of those tunnel things that you put together and add on to and they don't want anything to do with it.... Ah the simple things in life!!!</font>

She is a big teddy bear. She loves to play with her stuffed animals and look for critters that might enter her domain. Last summer when I was sitting for her I let her out it was a warm night so she would like to go out and sit. What made me laugh is she will go and sit in the flower bed hopefully not on any flowers and stare up at the fence or up into the tree,just waiting and hoping to catch sight of something. And I tell you she has patience I don't know if its in their nature (Airedales) but shes got it... one night I watched and she just sat there really still for 30 or more minutes. I wanted to see how long she would go and she would have gone longer but I thought she better come in I didn't want her to catch a critter especially with all the rabid ones over in Gold River. So I have to watch her watch whatever it is she is waiting for... lol its her kind of fun. I just make sure she is safe. Then she will come in drink her water, I wipe her mouth, otherwise the floor is all wet. Then she will grab one of her cute colorful stuffed animals and run around the house a couple of times come back and get love she would love to curl up in your lap but that doesn't work too well so I give lots of love get down on the floor with hang out then we watch a little TV and she drifts off to sleep and starts to snore its very cute. I do love that dog shes a mini pony!!!</font>

Charlie the Ferrel Like Kitty and Hank His Mother/Father http://www.sacpaws.com/home/Blog/Barb111/511 http://www.sacpaws.com/home/Blog/Barb111/511 <p><font face="Comic Sans MS" color="#0000ff" size="2"><strong>I think I have spoke of Charlie and Hank before but I will give you a quick summary. Hank a beautiful Cream Mackerel, went out one day and came back with this tiny homeless little Charlie. Charlie is or was pretty much Ferrel but after much love and patience Hanks owners were able to work with Charlie enough to give him a great home. He just took to Hank their other cat.&nbsp;Charlie cuddles with&nbsp;Hank kneads on him(something Hanks not thrilled about but its like he understands this little guy had a rough beginning and he tolerates it) and they also play together. Basically wherever Hank is Charlie is but he doesn't let people get real close. No petting,holding, cuddling, but you can see that he wants it you can look in his eyes and you know he really wants human touch but is scared. His owners love him and he will play with you and get real close but until recently he would not allow any human to pet him or touch him for any length of time. My partner babysat recently and had a big break through she got Charlie to come up and let her pet him and scratch him!!! I was over the day prior to this miracle and I could see he really wanted to be loved. So the next day she walked in and headed towards the area she always greets Hank and eventually Charlie will peek out but this time when she sat down on the floor and was giving Hank love and playing with him, Charlie walks up, plops down in front of her and she reached her hand out to pet him and he let her and then day after day until their owners came home he would allow her to give him love. I almost cried because if you could see his little face and how much he wanted to trust and then he did, well it was a great thing. She is the Cat Whisperer!!!</strong></font></p> PetSitting Basil The Bunny http://www.sacpaws.com/home/Blog/Barb111/510 http://www.sacpaws.com/home/Blog/Barb111/510 <strong><font face="Comic Sans MS" color="#0000ff" size="2">Just got back from pet sitting a beautiful cat and her playmate,Basil the Bunny. Basil is the best bunny I have ever met he is comes and greets you when you go out and he follows you around the yard as you walk around. He is a joy. He has run of the yard and he stays in the yard,surprise surprise. He also has his own bunny apartment back there everything a bunny could ask for...He loves his treats and of course his carrots. I love all animals and I love it when I get a chance to sit with a pet that, well not a lot of people have anymore or at least not my clients. Basil definitely lives the live of a little bunny prince. The cat doesn't do to bad either!!! It is heartwarming to see good people take care of there pets and give them a great home considering there are just too many animals out there with no homes. If only I had a ranch with acres I would give animals in need a good home and I now believe there are many people out there that would support that in a number of ways. Its a dream of mine and maybe someday I can make it happen in the mean time I do what I can and so do the people in my life.</font></strong> Halloween Costumes for Plus Size Dogs http://www.sacpaws.com/home/Blog/Barb111/499 http://www.sacpaws.com/home/Blog/Barb111/499 <font face="Comic Sans MS" color="#000080" size="3">My cousin Linda has a beautiful Air-dale, Bridget. Every year my partner and I love to celebrate Halloween and we love to include our pets and the pets we love like Bridget and Sammy. So we go looking for Halloween costumes for&nbsp;all the babies&nbsp;Sammy and Bridget and Jon and Percy. Bridget is the hardest because she is the biggest and there are lots of large dogs out there and they need to make more costumes for these big dogs and this is the feed back when I was standing in line at the pet store so its not just not me. We improvised with Bridget this year and she was a&nbsp;princess or queen since she is QUEEN of the house lol. I am already thinking of next year and I will ask my cousin what she wants and we will probably try some of our sewing skills. But it would be nice if they made plus size dog costumes or at least more of them.</font>
