Well I am curious also; I have always  been curious as to why my cats follow me to the bathroom and want to sit in there when I am in there. Especially in the  morning but it can be anytime and God forbid if I shut the door, they will sit there and meow and meow until I let them in or I come out. Nothing is sacred in my home. I know dogs who also have this habit though they do not seem as persistent as my cats they still want to follow me or there owners who are my different family members into the bathroom.
