I did a a lot of research when we had the pet food scare and educated myself a little better on the best nutritional diet for cats and dogs. So I found a dry cat food that my cats liked and that met their nutritional needs. Now I hear that a large chain pet store will be carrying it and I think great. But then I hear from someone in the business and who is trust worthy that the brand I am using will most definitely have to start using fillers and what not when making there cat food instead of keeping it all natural and healthy. And supposedly she has had this happen with other brands she carried and the obvious reason they do this is because there is no way they, the cat food company could afford to keep the quality of the food and deal with the large pet food chain. So now I am going to try and figure this out see if they are reducing the quality of their ingredients and if necessary find another dry food that jon and percy will like and that will be good for them. Last time I bought their food the packaging had changed and this was before all the other things had come to my attention. I asked the person at the store if they had changed anything in their food and I looked at the ingredients but nothing had changed at least not then. Well it will be interesting and if I have to change then somehow it must be "meant to be" and the new food will be even better for the boys. I guess you just have to chalk it up to business but it still stinks and I don't mean the cat food!!!
