Wiggles has arrived!
Yup, I did it! I've added to my pug clan. I brought Wiggles home today!! I picked her up this morning in a small town south of Des Moines, Iowa from her foster mom. Actually, i took another pug, Tillie, up there so that she could be transported to her forever home in Des Moines. Tillie was a former puppymill pug who couldn't have been more sweet. Thankfully she will live the rest of her life in a wonderful home away from the demands of a breeder. Wiggles has done great so far. A little scared but I certainly expected that. She was rescued from the pound in Des Moines but there's not much history available. Her foster mom said when she picked her up back in March her coat was in bad shape plus she was missing most of her teeth so her tongue hangs out on her left side continuously. I can already tell that will be one of her endearing qualities. Not sure of her age but they think 8-9 yrs. She still has a lot of spunk left especially when it comes to food but that trait seems to be hardwired into ALL pugs. Ruby and Amie have been exceptionally well behaved....no tussles as of yet. It will take a bit but eventually we'll develop our routine so everyone knows what's expected. Life with the puglets has now become more exciting....... 0 comments from 0 users
