Crazy weather!
It's definitely tornado season in the Midwest! We had some intense thunderstorms move through Kansas City and the surrounding communities last night and into the wee hours this morning along with several tornados. Damage was pretty severe in a neighboring community just north of KC. Apparently the worst of the storms went through around 2am....what's really crazy is that I didn't hear a thing!!! I've been so tired lately during this current rotation (surgery) that I slept through Mother Nature's fury. And so did Amie and Ruby because they were in the same places on my bed this morning as they were last night! I've been blessed with two puggies that are relatively unaffected by the lightening and thunder. Lots of fresh air and exercise during the day and contented bellies at night and they sleep like champions!
