The reality-based series is centered around three interns desiring to make a change in the course of their professional lives - following a dream to work with animals.

The filming for this unique series required the full-time efforts of PAWS directors, animal care supervisors and other keeping staff. During filming, PAWS provided housing for the interns, as well as rigorous training in animal care. Throughout the program PAWS' philosophy on issues about captive wildlife and animals in entertainment is represented accurately.  PAWS' unique sanctuary program clearly demonstrates the beneficial effects of space, freedom, and enriched environments for captive wildlife.
