Cat toilet training the final frontier...
As far as we are concerned Butter(scotch) has been successful at learning to use the toilet. He still 'misses' and occasionally poops on the vinyl-floor in the bathroom, but it isn't a big deal to toss those 'misses' in the toilet and flush. I've caught him going poop and he is in the correct position but he for some reason sometime puts his bottom out over the floor instead of the toilet bowl, but hey you don't have a cat unless they have strange behaviors.
He seems to have gotten over his issue with the 'dirty' toilet water and now will go more than once in the same toilet without flushing in between. He in fact uses both the upstairs and downstairs toilets, and has used the toilet at my folk's house too (yes Butterscotch is an amazingly adaptable cat!). We wish everyone luck with toilet training their cats. Needless to say it has been an adventure, but totally worth it because we never have to empty a cat little box again! 0 comments from 0 users
