Little dog syndrome

Little dog syndrome
I have a 1 year old Yorkie. She always pees when she is excited. I've heard that puppies usually do this and they grow out of it. I've also heard this is common in little dogs. Is there a way to calm her down so that she doesn't pee when she's excited?
