New director for teaching hospital
Professor W. David Wilson is the new director of the William R. Pritchard Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital in Davis. He supervises faculty veterinarians and a highly trained staff. They treat more than 30,000 animal patients each year. At the same time, using each case as an example, these experts teach veterinary students and provide advanced training for specialists in 30 different fields--oncology, cardiology, imaging, surgery, nutrition and more. The veterinary residency program is the largest in the nation. When you bring your pet to the teaching hospital, you will meet students, residents and faculty experts. Your appointment may take a little longer, but think of it this way: Your pet is getting not only the best of care, it is helping teach future veterinarians. Dr. Wilson directs hospital activities and supervises the teaching programs in small animal and large animal clinics. http://www.vmth.ucdavis.edu... 0 comments from 0 users
