Kung Fu Panda Winner Selected

Congratulations to roxanne33, who will receive four movie tickets to "Kung Fu Panda," a Po plushie doll, 2 large pizzas from Papa Murphy's, a CD of the "Kung Fu Panda" soundtrack, a "Kung Fu Panda" Wii game, and a children's book – "Kung Fu Panda: The Warriors Guide."

She entered our Kung Fu Panda contest, where we asked users to tell us their all-time favorite animal action hero from TV or movies.

Here's her winning entry:

"Well, she may not be an "action" hero per se, but she sure did rescue Nemo.. so I would have to say that my favorite action hero animal is Dory, from Finding Nemo!"

See below for all contest entries.

Come on y'all!  SNOOPY rules!  You have to love his attitude!  And when he goes after the Red Baron in one scene and worries about his little yellow friend the next...that shows he is well rounded and not afraid to be...well....human!?!

My favorite was "Babe"  I loved the way he was able to talk to the sheep.   Everyone loves Babe the pig!

I am giving my age away, but my favorite TV Dog star was Rin Tin Tin.  I couldn't wait to see him in action.  He was a great German Shepherd and so smart.  I became infatuated with the breed and later as an adult,,  had 10 of them that I trained in obedience, protection and search and rescue..  Recently, the German Shepherd dog that starred in K-9 with Jim Belushi brought back memories of Rinny but didn't compare in showmanship.  Linda Williams.

My favorite is a toss up between the cartoon action hero Earthworm Jim and The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (The movies).Earthworm Jim was a pretty cool guy.

I would have to say Lou from the movie Cats and Dogs.  I love his faith in humanity :)

Ok, so he's not an "action hero", but I'm going to go with Eddie from Frazier.  I saw him run from one side of the room to the other, and he seemed to make everyone happy.  Pretty heroic, if you ask me.

When i was a little girl my brothers and  I use to watch touche turtle.  well, touche turtle would wear a cape with a sword, pointing up in the air, and my older brother would  wear a cape and sword running up and down the street yelling touche turtle and poking everyone with his sword, and now that is an old cartoon HERO.

Scooby Doo!   Scooby is funny and perks up at the mention of a Scooby Snack - just like my dog Scooter and her biscuit treats!
