I have 2 indoor cats who love to tear up their litter box. Cats dig. That's their nature. They love to clean up after they do their business and then they try and cover their stuff with litter. My cats have sharp claws and they end up scratching the liner as they shovel litter onto their stuff. I've never found a liner that stands up long to that kind of abuse. My cats are very determined and spend about five minutes clawing at the litter, and of course, destroying the liner. Their claws get caught in the plastic liner and this creates holes. I end up using new litter every couple of days. Having an automatic cat box would serve me well, but most importantly, I think my cats would enjoy it more! Thank you!

I could really use an automatic litter box firstly because we have four indoor cats in our house. It would really make life easier, especially since I am expecting a baby in November too. Our household is always busy and that would be one thing that could make life a little simpler. My kitties really enjoy an extra clean litter box!

Each time I clean the litter box I just think, "I'm too old and too tired to be scooping poop for an ungrateful feline. I'd love for it to be easier."

We have made the switch to clumping natural/flushable cat litter (Feline Pine), but our kattan (he's almost a cat) still gets 'angry' and poops outside his box when he thinks it is too dirty, which takes anywhere from a couple days to a week. We can flush his little litter clumps, but the smell of his ammonia filled pee is just gross and we feel bad for guest who stay in the kattan's room when they visit. We would like to clean his box more, but just don't have the time to spend 20 minutes cleaning it everyday. An automatic little box would be great when we have friends pet sit too, because watching our cute and funny kattan Butter(scotch) would be a lot more appealing without the 'poo duty'.

I had a huge problem with litter odor and damage to my hardwood floors. But fortunately, I discovered a wonderful product called New Concept Premium Litter, by Morgan Manufacturing Co. in Richmond. I have found it at the Pet Club in Elk Grove. It is like sawdust, has a wonderfully woodsy smell, reduces odor, and is very environmentally friendly. Because of its sawdust property, there is no damage to my floors. But best of all, there is no dust for my cats (3) to inhale. The only drawback is no clumping. But a small price to pay for a better planet, healthier cats, and beautiful floors. And the price is comparable to clay litter.

HELLLLLP I need help, I have a 1 1/2 year old teacup Yorkie and I want her to run around the house while Im at work, but she is not potty trained so, I am forced to leave her in our office. I feel pretty bad because she is confined in a little room. Im searching for dog trainers to potty train using a litter box, hence If I have a litter box it would be 1/2 much easier. Pls help Tinkerbelle get out of the office and into a castle (my house). posted by

My cat and I would really like a litter box that automatically cleans itself! My cat stays in his litter box for quite a while clawing up the litter and the sides of the box - which leads to a lot of litter outside the box. I am amazed that only the cat litter flies out of the box on those "full" days!

Those of you who own both cats and dogs should know what "kitty crunchies" are. There are the discusting little crunchy treats your dog finds in the cat's litter box. Not only does the leave my dog's breath less than pleasant but I am afraid the scoopable litter might do her some major tummy damage. I want an automatic litter box to keep these little "treats" out of my dogs diet. I have tried the covered litter boxes but she is too determined to let a little thing as a lid hold her back. Now she still gets the kitty cruchies and also leave a sandy mess all over my floor.

My sister in law has a Munchkin cat(6mos old) named Cupcake. A Scoopfree Automatic Liter Box would be perfect for her because Cupcake, for some strange reason likes to sleep in her cat box. I know, it sounds strange to everyone. My sister in law changes from day shift to night shift every 4 weeks so their schedule is very messed up.She cleans the cat box daily but sometimes she seems to do it in her sleep. She is so tired after work that having a self cleaning liter box would be like winning the lottery. I know Cupcake would cherish it more than my sister in law.That's why I would love to win the automatic liter box for them.

My cat is getting old. She will be 14 in people years this August. This is the only reason I can think of that she has recently decided she does not like her litter box. I have tried everything I can think of. Sadly, she uses the floor near the cat box for non liquid items and worse, the carpet inside the house for liquid. Maybe this litter system would be the answer?! posted by

I have 3 beautiful cats. I also have 2 great dogs, except for the fact that they like to get to the litter box before I do (which is twice a day), and "clean" it out (ewwww!). Since I am very busy with my 3 year old autistic twin boys, I sure could use a scoop free litter box!

I have five cats and I scoop my boxes twice a day. Once in the morning when I wake up and once at night before I go to bed.
It sure would be nice to have a scoop-free box. I have back problems at age 50 and this would really help out.
