Molly Sue - The ORIGINAL Little Monster

Molly Sue - The ORIGINAL Little Monster
I will be giving you the skinny on what is going on in the pet sitting world, pets that are making headlines, pet safety information, pet product reviews, pet fashion updates, recipes chosen by real pets, and of course a little bit of dishy celebrity pet gossip occasionally! We will also ALWAYS be featuring a "Favorite Things List" every year right before the Holidays. Just in time for you to leave it behind for your guardians to "accidentally" pick up.

More Holiday Additions to the Holiday Gift Guide-2009
This has been a busy two days, Mom and Dad have been dragging me all over Sacramento in search of some last minute trendy items for the Holidays.  They have been spending so much money, all I see is either the gold or the blue of that plastic card come out of mom's wallet and more bags ending up in the car.  Do I need to tell you exactly how MANY treats that I have had over the last few days?  I have such an upset stomach and mom and day keep making this nasty face at me, I am not sure what their problem is.  AND the baths!!!  Do not even get me started on that.  I smell great but my goodness...I am so over being wet.  So, kids, stay tuned over the next few days as there is plenty more product recommendations to come.  This list turned out to be more than I thought it would be.

Love,

Molly Sue

Pixie Project ADOPT Leash and Collars

So Mom and Dad rescued me a few years ago and for that I’m really a lucky girl. I may give them a hard time now and then, but they always let me under the covers and I know they love me. The Pixie Project, a not-for-profit animal rescue and retail store, has a really cool collar and leash set available now called ADOPT. They are made of heavy duty nylon and sport a really reflective stripe down the middle of one side. With the neon green color and the words ‘Support The Adoption Option’ down the front, you can announce yourself and the message to the whole dog park! Work it! Thanx Mom and Dad!

Earthbark Companion

Mom and Dad were really excited when they moved to the land of suburbia about 2 years ago and decided to volunteer for a local organization that was building the first local dog park.  This inspired them to look into recruiting more dog friendly areas to be accessible in the local parks, etc.  A few weeks ago, while searching on the internet they stumbled upon the Earthbark Movement.  It is a really cool progressive movement.  You buy a tag from them for less than $10 and send a picture in of you wearing it and they send you stickers to give to local businesses to get them involved with promoting more dog friendly places for us to hang out.  And they also send you some free poop bags.  Pretty cool huh?

Vedante Cosmo Collection

Did I mention that Mr. Cat used to hang out in the alleyways of the big city? Yea, Mr. cat used to have six toes but…well, nevermind. Sometimes Mr. Cat pines for the days of old where the world was his playground. Fortunately, Mr. Cat is outfitted with Vedante’s Cosmo Collection cat collar which is made of super reflective 3M Scotchlite material (just like Mom’s sneakers!). I like it because it has a bell on it so he can’t sneak up on me and Mr. Cat likes it because it has a breakaway feature to keep him from using up another life.

FroliCat Bolt

I’m kinda clueless when it comes to the whole laser light thing. I just don’t get it. But my two dachshund friends and Mr. Cat (from down the street) go bananas over the FroliCat Bolt by Brilliant Pet! Do they not get that the light is coming from that bowling pin looking thing? Silly animals. Trust me, seeing the Bolt in action is well worth the price of admission!

Peek-A-Prize Toy Box

So since Mr. Cat has been around a while he’s really hard to shop for and gets bored with fuzzy mice and feathers on a string. So what’s a girl to get this old tabby anyway? Enter the Peek-A-Prize Toy box by Smart Cat. Mr. Cat loves being able to swat at the miscellaneous balls and toys while uncovering random treats and getting in a little ‘nip buzz every time he plays. For some over-the-top fun I combine it with a little laser action just to drive him nuts!

For great pet (and people) products - and to support some very good causes - check out theanimalrescuesite.com . If you click on their site (as well as the rainforest site, breast cancer site, literacy site, child health site, and hunger site, you can give food, books, etc. for free just by a click on the site.)
