Sickness
This past week, was horrible for me. After spending a great week of visiting the dog park, I woke up the next morning coughing my little head off. It would seem none stop. The worst was when I would throw up after a string of coughs. My mom and dad calls it the whooping cough. Worried the heck out of my mom. It sounded terrible and I can tell that it prevented mom and dad from sleeping peacefully. Me too! I haven't been to the dog park in a bit because the last I went, I was coughing and barfing, and I knew that the other parents didn't want me by their dogs. I couldn't help that they were swarming around me. Mom and dad swooped me out of the park and back home. Staying at home paid off, though, because my cough went away! I am as good as new and ready to hit the parks again! 3 comments from 3 users

I hope your humans took you to the vet....sounds like you had kennel cough...it's pretty bad....I had it a few months back and it's very contageous....I got it from the dog park, too....The vet told my human to get me the kennel cough vaccine every 6 months if I go to the dog park a lot...which I do cause I love it so much....I hope you are feeling better now....Hagen the boxer

Thanks for the well wishes guys. Yes it was the kennel cough. I got my booster shot a week prior to the symptoms starting. I'm thinking that it might've been an after-effect but I am no longer whooping. I am going to take a rest from the dog parks for a bit but I'll be back soon.
