Boy Cats Vs. Girl Cats
I use to have nothing but girl cats. I didn't plan it, it just worked out that way. So this time around I have boy cats and its been my experience that boy cats tend to be less aloof and more needy than girl cats, which is fine with me. But it did surprise me,my girl cats were equally loving I mean I knew they loved me but they were more independent. My boys want to be in the same room with us all the time and demand attention. They want you to talk with them or at least listen. I think its adorable they have many expressions to go along with their chatter. And different inflections in there many meows. My girl cats didn't demand that much attention and they were quiet in comparison to these two. So I was wondering if it was just a male/female thing or just different personalities. Anyone who might have experienced this or has a theory let me know. I would be interested in hearing from you.

Good topic! I've always had boy cats and they've always been so needy and sweet. My latest cat - she's a girl and very aloof, not a lap cat at all. She can be affectionate but really only when she wants food! We love her dearly but I decided that the next cat we get will definitely be a boy!
