Silly Sammy The White Schnauzer

Sammy the wonder dog. He is my aunts dog and I get the privilege of spending time with Sammy whenever I want. Especially now since I am helping out my aunt who is recovering nicely from her foot surgery. At first when my aunt came home and was in the cast Sammy was good, normal for him; he knew something was different and his mommy was hurt but he was still going up to her and was only scared of the wheelchair. But then after about 5 days he just woke up one morning and seemed scared of her, my aunt. Which was completely out of character for Sammy he loves his mommy and wants to be with her every second of the day.  It was the strangest thing to watch he wouldn't go up to her in fact he would go sit outside and look in at her and all of us from the patio, totally new behavior. At first we thought he ate something outside that he shouldn't have that is his very bad habit. And in fact I am positive he did because he wouldn't eat that night and he got sick. This has happened before so we thought it must just be that, but when he got well he still acted scared of her and avoided her and would sit outside looking in--------very odd. Well it went on for a few more days and we put him on her lap and brought him around her so he would get over whatever it was that was upsetting him so and finally he is all better and doesn't act scared of her but he is still scared of the wheel chair and barks at it and runs from it---silly sensitive Sammy.
