Is it Flea Season???
My cats are indoor cats but I do let them go out with me in the yard when I am out there gardening. They love to go out and get fresh air and roll around on the patio maybe eat some grass and play for awhile. I had problems with fleas one time since they adopted me so I have been very lucky. But I noticed I was getting these bites around my ankles and at first I thought it was a mosquito but no I found a flea. So I checked the cats couldn't find any on them but I decided to spray the back and front yard. So far I haven't been bitten again and haven't seen any on the cats. My roommate wants to put advantage on them which is OK I guess but we have never seen one on them but I suppose its OK since they do go out in the back once in awhile. I know there is a neighborhood cat who is primarily outdoors and he sometimes jumps in our backyard at night he might be the culprit. But I was wondering if other people who have indoor cats who sometimes go outside like mine are being attacked by fleas, I haven't had to deal with this in a long time. I do have other family members who own dogs who go outside too hmmmmm.

I have 3 cats and only one really likes to go outside. I let him out for short intervals and never had a problem until last summer. There was a stray cat hanging around near my house and I think she brought the fleas around. The flea problem made it into my house and it became UNBEARABLE! I can't believe how fast it happened! All 3 cats are on Frontline now and no more fleas.
