King Tut
Turning the household inside out was an easy game for my new eight week-old Yorkie/Shitzu little boy. Tofu, my 14 year old cat, greeted Puppy by peeing on my down comforter and then did it again after the comforter was dry cleaned. Ollie, the senior toy poodle, said hello to Puppy by growling and snapping except when he ate.

Daily I reported to my neighbors the new adventures of Puppy whose name seemed to continually reflect his latest antics. Eventually, he became 'Buddy', then 'Chase', 'Fang', 'Houdini', and one particularly bad day-'Mr. Poop Face' and then 'Mr. Peabody'. When distinctive black lips were observed on Puppy, 'Hot Lips' became his signature.

My neighbors enjoyed hearing the nightly news flashes about the escapades that led to the resulting name changes. Weeks into the process my neighbor asked how 'King Tut' was doing, and instantly I knew I had the regal name that truly described my little boy. Not just 'King' and not just 'Tut' - for his is KING TUT.

LONG LIVE KING TUT.
